Marina Deck Master 72″ Wide Carpet, Trim for Marine, Cars, Trucks, Trailers

Marina offers excellent dimensional stability with its needlepunch Dilour construction. It is easy to cut, fit and contour and not “grin” when folded. Marina is ideal for marine and automotive use because it is resistant to fade, mildew, gas, salt and oil. Marina is non-woven acoustic fabric with latex backcoating. Stain and soil resistant finish, which will not fray or unravel.

What is marine carpet?

Marine carpet is a carpeting product which has been specially designed for use in marine applications. Marine carpets have a flexible rubber backing which allows installers to ensure that it conforms to the surface it is being installed on so that it will not slip or bunch. Marine carpet will not fade or become damaged through regular sun exposure, and it will also resist mould and mildew. The pile of marine carpet tends to be short, due to concerns about hygiene and safety.

What kind of marine carpets do you offer?

We are one of the only carriers of Berber marine carpets. We also carry marine carpets such as Bayshore, Marina Deck Master, Shoal/Pontoon marine carpets, deck hard marine flooring and several others. For a complete selection please visit our store.

What is the difference between marine carpet and regular outdoor carpet?

Marine carpet is named for its primary use on boats, but can also be installed indoors such as in basements where moisture is a problem. Marine carpet is made with an olefin top layer and a rubber backing. The backing on marine carpets is designed to keep water in rather then allowing it to leak out onto flooring.
Outdoor carpet generally marketed as indoor/outdoor carpet is often made from weather resistant materials. However, this carpet does not have marine backing and, for example, in areas where moisture could be a problem, marine outdoor carpet is often installed. Outdoor carpeting is often composed completely of synthetic materials, making it relatively inexpensive.

Do you offer stain resistant boat flooring or carpet?

Yes our 72 inch wide deck hard marine flooring is stain resistant and offers abrasion resistance to sand and dirt.

What is standard width of the marine carpet?

Regular Marine carpet comes in two widths 72” or 96” wide and it is sold by linear yard. There are also Berber carpet in 144” and 90” widths.

What is marine vinyl flooring?

Marine environments are slippery. Marine vinyl is designed to walk safely without the risk of falling. It is also easy to clean.

What is the best adhesive for marine applications?

We do sell glue for marine purposes. It exists in spray or liquid form.

Where else can I use marine flooring?

Marine carpet is also practical in offices, on patios and around swimming pools. It's available in plain colours of blue, green and red as well as beige, grays and browns.
